This South Park Zine is a digital and physical for-profit SFW fanzine featuring multiple pairings and just general art from the TV Show South Park.
The zine will feature art, stories, and merch of the characters of South Park in the canon universe as well as alternate universes—potentially created by 25 page artists, 5 merch artists, and 8 writers.
Hi there I'm Jessi! I got back into the fandom space over the pandemic, more specifically being into anime and K-Pop. I started watching South Park over the pandemic as well, and have been following the show since then. More recently, I've started writing for the South Park fandom and hang out in the fandom space.
I’ve participated in two digital and one physical zine in the Attack on Titan community, twice as a mod and once as a participant. I also recently wrapped up a Squid Game zine in the fall as the head mod. Lastly, I'm currently running a Beatles zine as well, which will go on sale Feb-March 2026. Outside of zine-work, I also run my own small business on Etsy, along with hosting several fandom events within the AoT and K-Pop communities. I look forward to working with amazing contributors and mods to create a fantastic South Park zine!
Hey guys! I'm Journen! South Park is a show I discovered many years back. I was huge into the Book of Mormon musical as a teenager and that made me check out South Park. Some years later, during the Pandemic, I had a resurgence with the show, I re-binged it and played both video games and it cemented me as a fan. I check back in on the show every few years to see how the fandom is doing too. 😊I'm really excited for this project! I have experience doing page art, cover art, and art mod responsibilities for zines in the Star Wars, Call of Duty, and Squid Game fandoms. I'm excited for this one to be working with an awesome team. 🧡
Hello! I’m Asteria, or Teri if you’re nasty. I’ve been writing South Park fanfiction for about two years now, though I’ve enjoyed creative writing as a hobby for most of my life. I’m relatively new to the fandom as I got into the show rather late in life, but so far I’ve loved engaging in discussions about our favorite foul-mouthed fourth graders and enjoying everyone else’s incredible fan works! I’m so excited to get to work with everyone to create something incredible together!
Hey everyone, Alice here! I fall under the stereotypical umbrella of yaoi fanfiction writer, just like the girls. And speaking of Creek, that's pretty much how I started watching South Park! I jokingly said to Mod Jessi that you just have to make something gay and that'll increase the likelihood of me watching it—turns out it's true. I'm quite new to the fandom since I didn't watch the show until recently, so if you see posts with early season references, kudos to you. Also #JusticeForChef :3
Q: What is a Zine?
A: A zine, or fan magazine, is an unofficial collection of art and written works compiled in book form.
Q: Can I participate if I’m under 18?
A: No. You must be at least 18 years old by the time you submit your contributor application. Mods will verify the age of all applicants and disqualify those who are younger than 18 years old.
Q: Can I apply for multiple roles?
A: Yes, but you can only be accepted for one.
Q: Will you be sending rejection emails as well as acceptance?
A: We will send out acceptance, rejection, and pinch hitter emails simultaneously. If you do not receive your email within 24 hours of the scheduled date, feel free to email us directly at [email protected] or send us a message on Twitter, Tumblr, or BlueSky. Any changes/delays made to the schedule will be communicated through all our social media!
Q: What are pitches?
A: A pitch would be a short description of a piece you would like to create for this zine. The general rule in our contributor applications form is this: write an idea down and indicate what kind of piece it is. Furthermore, pitches do not affect your chances of being accepted into the zine as we know that ideas can change over time. You may give us concrete or vague pitches.
Q: How will contributors be compensated?
A: Contributors will be guaranteed a free digital PDF copy of the zine and any digital merch created, however, our goal is to compensate all contributors with a limited edition bundle if we reach pre-order targets. Any funds remaining after all contributors have been compensated will be distributed evenly among contributors and mods.
Q: Are we allowed to share our work?
A: We ask that contributors please keep zine pieces private until the aftersales and the head moderators have given the okay signal.
Q: Are we allowed to submit traced work?
A: We do not accept plagiarized, stolen, traced, or recolored works made by someone else. If submitted work is found to be any of the above, then the contributor will be removed from the zine or application pool.
Q: Where are you shipping from?
A: We will be shipping from the US! We ship internationally and are accepting group orders. However, we will not likely be able to ship to Ukraine or Russia due to current circumstances.
Q: Why are the application guidelines the way they are?
A: We want to select applicants as fairly as possible. Please consult the application section for more details.
